Top category saffron threads
"Super Negin"

natAmour® sources its saffron threads from the Mashhad region on the historic Silk Road in northern Iran – one of the original regions of origin of saffron. This region is still one of the world’s best sources of saffron. We only use the finest Super Negin saffron. This is obtained from the very top of the flower stigma.

Saffron belongs to the crocus family (Crocus sativus). The saffron, which blooms purple in November, is mainly grown in the Mediterranean, Iran, Afghanistan and the Kashmir region, where the flowers are painstakingly collected by hand and only the three to six 2-5 cm long red stigmas of the light yellow pistil at the top of the flower are used. This makes it clear why it is the most precious spice in the world. Around 800 flowers are needed to make 5 grams of saffron spice.

Premium saffron from the top region of Mashhad

This is why “red gold” is always a fitting metaphor for saffron. It is always associated with a bright color and exclusivity. Saffron has always symbolized wealth and power in royal circles and is still valued today as a noble spice, especially in fine cuisine.

The most valuable spice in the world deserves to be treated as such. The hand-picked red gold is harvested in Mashhad (Iran), probably the most perfect place in the world for premium saffron. natAmour® saffron focuses on the highest quality and exclusivity. It is our aim to spoil you with the taste of saffron, to inspire and delight you. Whether for yourself or as a special gift, our natAmour® saffron will ensure a magical and unforgettable moment.
